Cavers often say “why should I take a cave rescue class? I don’t belong to a rescue squad.” That may be true, but did you ever realize what great skills you can gain from attending a NCRC Seminar? Rescue rigging will teach useful techniques that you will use during normal cave rigging. The concepts taught are adaptable to self-rescue and small party rescue. With the skills you learn at a NCRC Seminar, you just might be able to get you buddy, who sustains a minor injury, safely out of the cave without having to call-out a full rescue. Plain and simple… “cave rescue training can make you a safer and better caver”. REMEMBER: Pre-registration forms for the Cave Rescue Seminar June 16 – June 24, 2006 in Alabama, must be postmarked before the May 11, 2006 deadline to save $50.00. If you have questions about the seminar please contact: Kevin Smith, Registrar Phone: 256-653-2588 e-mail: ksmith@dyerandsmith.com On the web at: southeast.ncrc.info/Be safe, Tim White <>< NSS 26949 RE FE Editor, Nylon Highway ------------------------------------- Southeastern Region Coordinator- National Cave Rescue Commission, NSS
